Went to aikido HQ to purchase hakama (because as a blue belt, I can wear)... wondering what a hakama looks like? see below:

I think I joined aikido (I thought of joining kendo intially, but it is so not me!) because I wanted to wear a hakama... like the shinigamis in Bleach and Doumeki in xxxHOLiC! So cool! :)

Anyway, at first the lady at the HQ wanted me to buy size 24, but I don't think I can fit in so I bought a size 25 hakama. When I went home and tried it on, it is so big and baggy the the ends drag on the floor. :(

Is this normal? I must ask HF the next time I see her...
